Atul Wassan Controversy

Indian cricket fans were excited to see their favourite player wearing the blue jersey once again. MS Dhoni\’s track record in ICC events is incredible, according to BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and Secretary Jay Shah, and his expertise and understanding will be beneficial to the team.

However, during a debate on a TV channel, former Indian cricketer Atul Wassan made a shocking statement, claiming that the BCCI called in Dhoni to restore balance because the common consensus was that Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri were handling all affairs as per their wishes, and they were picking and choosing who they wanted.

He also claimed that Virat and Ravi were entirely in charge of Indian cricket, forcing the BCCI to bring in the former captain. In regards to the captaincy saga, Atul believes the selectors made the correct decision in naming Rohit Sharma as India\’s ODI captain.

He also discusses the controversy surrounding Kohli\’s dismissal from the captaincy, claiming that after a cricketer has played a lot of cricket and is seen as a demi-God by his followers, he begins to expect special treatment, which he believes needs to improve.

Atul Wassan also believes that a player should not expect much from the board and that they must accept whatever they are asked to do or taught.
